Big Give Back Challenge 2010

Belfry Theatre – On May 4 all of the proceeds from ticket sales to the amazing, funny, and charming production of the 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee will be donated to Bigs. Tickets are just $25 each. Order your tickets today by calling 250-385-6815 or Online Ticket Request

 

Cobs Bread - Oh my...what a treat. On May 8 and 9 COBS Bread bakeries will donate $0.50 from the sale of every scone (including the new banana chocolate chip scone!) to their local Big Brothers Big Sisters agency. Bakeries will also be collecting cash donations for Big Brothers Big Sisters from April 8 to May 12. In just the second year of this partnership, COBS hopes to raise $10,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies across Canada this year.

 

Sport Chek – it’s a home run from our friends at Sport Chek at the Bay Centre who are making a donation and hosting a volunteer recruitment fair on May 15 and 16. Drop by the mall and bring a friend!

The Preventables – this dedicated team have one thing on their minds…your junk…we mean your unwanted household goods and furniture. This group hosts a virtual garage sale and does all the work necessary to sell the goods – everything from cell phones to futons and everything in between.

 

Big Baby – this group of athletic amateurs have no intention of ever winning an Olympic gold, but they do plan to raise the highest scores at the Ridge Golf course when they host the Big Baby Golf Tournament on June 12th- An early evening tournament for novices followed by a BBQ.
