Criminal Record Check Update

The process to obtain criminal record checks for volunteers in Victoria can now take up to 2 months due to policy changes from the RCMP. Please keep this in mind if you are considering applying to volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters!With the wait time for criminal record checks now taking up to 2 months, the application process is becoming lengthier than ever and we encourage those interested to inquire right away to begin the process. If you are debating becoming a BIG BROTHER or BIG SISTER in any of our programs, please don’t hesitate to contact our Program Assistant at 250-475-1117 ext. 40 to find out more and to help you make your decision.
