Types of Donations

When preparing a donation, please help Big Brothers Big Sisters be as efficient as possible by using the following list of items we can and cannot accept.

We Gladly Accept

Small household items such as dishes, kitchen utensils, toys, games and knick knacks.  Please note the restrictions re:quantity and quality of household items below.

As BBBS Victoria works in conjunction with ValueVillage, all donated items must be in good resellable condition. There are no limits on the amount of cloth goods we can take, however, due to space constraints on the trucks we must limit the amount of miscellaneous (household items, toys etc) to2-3 boxes per pick up.

Unacceptable Donations

Unfortunately, there are certain items we are unable to take for reasons of liability, health issues or disposal costs. Please remember that we can only accept re-usable and re-sellable items.
