Boarded Up for Mentoring
This crew of former board and staff members may be gone from the meeting schedule, but they have not forgotten the positive impact that Big Brothers Big Sisters mentors have on children, youth, and their families. Expanding the In-School Mentoring Program has been a goal for a long time and the Big Give Back Challenge helps to introduce mentoring programs to two new schools in Esquimalt in 2008. This group has challenged all board members everywhere to remember the mentors in their lives and to make a donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters in their honour.
